Vinyasa, which can mean "to place in a special way", is the essence of this class. Employing a combination of traditional namaskars [salutations] and creative sequencing, the asana [poses] are linked together mindfully with the breath so that the practitioner may experience a blissful balance of sthira [steadiness] and sukham [ease]. As a moving meditation, students will also explore pranayama, mantra and mindfulness during practice. This class is open to all levels of practice.
