Below is a list of a few short-hand terms that I use when writing the sequences shared in Class Creations.

1L = eka pada, one leg/foot
1A = eka hasta, one arm/hand
alternate basic vinyasa = DD - HP - knees down chaturanga - cobra - chaturanga - DD
BV = basic (connecting vinyasa) = high plank → chaturanga dandasana → urdhva mukha svanasana → adho mukha svanasana
CP = core plank, from 1LDD, hug the knee in (preparation for stepping through)
CCP = cross core plank, from 1LDD take the knee to the opposite elbow/tricep/armpit
OCP = open core plank, from 1LDD take the knee to same side elbow/tricep/armpit
DD = adho mukha svanasana, downward facing dog
DF = adho mukha, downward facing
ESA = utthita parsvakonasana, extended side angle
FF = uttanasana, standing forward fold
HP = high plank
UD = urdhva mukha svanasana, upward facing dog
SS = urdhva prasarita eka padasana, standing splits
P = parivrtta, revolved
ACB = ardha chandrasana B, half moon B
PACB = parivrtta ardha chandrasana, revolved half moon B
OH = overhead
standing crane = tadasana w/ 1 knee to chest
vasi = vasisthasana, side plank
vira 1, 2, 3 = virabhadrasana, warrior 1, 2,3
